CO - EDUCATION

CO- EDUCATION

Topic sentence: single sex schools are better as they stop students from getting distracted.
Some girls get distracted or carried away because they speak seven thousand words a day.

Introduction: Should your child attend a co - ed school or to a single sex school?
Would you have your child go to a co-education school or to a single sex school?
What do you feel about having your child go to a co-ed school or a single sex school

Paragraph 1 ( attending to a single sex school)
I think that being at a single sex school is great because when girls are around boys they
really try to empress the boys where as if they were around each other they change there
way’s when they are not around

Paragraph 2 ( bullying )
If you have been to a co-education school you might see that boys mainly bully the girls on
how they look, or what they wear. Did you know that boys aren’t supposed to hit or fight girls
because they can get hurt or end up in the hospital, this is why I think going to a co-education
school wouldn’t be a good school to attend to.

Paragraph 3 ( The effects on their learning )
Students who attend a co-education school might seem to get distracted most of the time.
I think that the girls mostly get distracted by boys because they are  talking to loud or they
keep annoying them. I think going to a single sex school would be best for girls so they
don’t get distrcated and so there grade levels get higher and higher astheygo.

Conclusion 4 ( why we should go to a single sex school )

Co - education school should be a separate school so that your kids can focus on their
education and get higher grades. Your child's education is really important that’s why students
should be separated from a co - education school and should attend to a single sex school

What makes a good person?

               What makes a good person?

What is a good person? A good person is honest ,respectful, and helpful
which means they are basically trustworthy, respectful, and helpful leaders.

A good person is honest to everybody. If you are honest you are trustworthy
and truthful person. An example of honest is a student admitting to their
teacher or friend that they cheated on a test. An honest person is
responsible for what they say to others.

A good person is respectful to their surroundings and to their elders.
A good person shows respect by appreciating what they have been given
and by using their manners. An example of respect is not talking when
others are trying to share what they have to say and you should always
be using your manners when you walk through someone, and when you
ask for something.

A good person is helpful to everyone around them, especially with your
family. You could be helpful by doing your chores everyday and week
without being told. You could be helpful by encouraging your family to do
their best in an event.

In conclusion a good person would be Helpful , Respectful , and Honest.
These 3 main ideas could be useful in the future or the  present. These three
main ideas can make you a better person in the future, if more people had
these values the world will become a better place.

Cheek Cells

Today room 4 were looking at cheek cells. We wanted to see what our cheek cells would look like under the microscope. We worked in 3 groups and was given instructions on making a slide.
In our groups we were given a clear slide and a popsicle stick, sodium cloride , and purple dye. first we used the popsicle stick to rub the swab in and around the sides of our cheeks. The next step was to  attach the swab to the slide and add a drop of sodium cloride on top of the swab so that it would mix together. the next thing was to do the same thing and add a drop of purple dye to the sodium cloride and to the swab. Then we put it under the microscope and had a look at it.

Hypothesis: what does our cheek cells look under the micrscope?

Equipment:

  • Popsicle stick
  • Slide
  • Sodium cloride
  • Methylene blue (STAIN)

Method:
The first thing was one of our gruop members had to take the popsicle stick and swab it gentaly in thier mouth.
  • Then they had to transfer the cells onto the slide
  • After that we had to add a drop of sodium cloride to the slide
  • Then we had to ass a drop of stain to drop of sodium cloride .

Observation:
When we looked at the cells the first time is was on the lowest magnification. As i saw it it was reall small, and all i saw were small dots and little lines.
