Paul Martin visit!

Last Wednesday we had a vista come to our school. His name was Paul Martin and he comes from Hamilton and  he is also  he was a comic artist he also when he was little boy
loved Reading books.


What happened  
What happened was that he told us how he creates his own book and what books he loved reading . And he also made his first book on his own and that book was named Kory the


Conclusion: What was your Favorite part?
My favorite part was when he told our whole class about his own story and it was very  inspiring.

 once upon a time it was dark and there was two boys walking around the building. There names were Batman and Spider man. Batman and Spider man were looking for the Joker. When Batman and Spider were walking around the building Spider Man looked up on top of the building and Spider man spotted the Joker. And then Spider man told Batman that there is the Joker spider man said. Once they saw the Joker Batman saw the Joker holding something and Batman found out it was a girl her name was April. Batman said to spider man that we need to save her before the joker throws her of the building.So we have to be quiet before we save her. So they ran up the building and they found the girl so Batman and spider man hid behind the caravan and the Joker was saying to April that where is Batman and Spider man  and April said to the Joker i don’t know where they are. and he let her go but she still had to go with the Joker to find out where they are so off they went.     When the joker and April left batman and spider waited for the joker and them to get into the car and then the joker and them went to the car and put April into the car and then they hit the person who put April into the van batman hit him and then batman and spider man took April. And when they hit the boy that joker heard something and got out of the van quickly as possible and then spider man stuck batman and April on to the roof of the building  and then April made a sound and then the joker found them and the joker layered April and then spider man had to take April to the hospital and when they were almost to the hospital April woke up then batman defeated the joker and they lived happily ever after the end.

One Morning we walked fast into Mr baxindine class and we grabbed our Chromebooks and i saw to boxes lying on top of the table with a sign above the boxes.  The sign said beware Mr goodwin.

My friend brooklyn grabbed a black bandana and tied it around my face so i could not see anything. I was so nervous that i was going to eat slimy and squishy stuff . So my friend brooklyn gave me a white cup and i did not know what was in it.  

The scosche green jelly tasted delicious and it tasted like green lime . When i was about to eat the jelly i touched it and it felt wobbly so i ate it and it was lime jelly it tasted delicious. 

My favorite part was when i ate the lime jelly and i was so scared that i was going to eat yeak stuff.

17-year-old gorilla Harambe is the first animal to be killed by the zoo’s dangerous animal response team

A gorilla was shot dead at a zoo in America yesterday after it grabbed hold of a four-year-old boy who had fallen into the moat around its enclosure.

Cincinnati zoo officials said the boy fell after he climbed through a public barrier at the Gorilla World exhibit on Saturday afternoon. He was picked up out of the moat and dragged by the gorilla for about 10 minutes.

Zoo Director Thane Maynard said the zoo’s dangerous animal response team decided the boy was in “a life-threatening situation” and that they needed to put down the 17-year-old 400-pound-plus male gorilla called Harambe.

Zoo director Thane Maynard said: "[The officials] made a tough choice and they made the right choice because they saved that little boy's life. It could have been very bad."

He said a tranquilliser would not have had a quick enough effect.

Mr Maynard said that although the boy was not under attack, he "certainly was at risk".

He added: "We are all devastated that this tragic accident resulted in the death of a critically-endangered gorilla. This is a huge loss for the zoo family and the gorilla population worldwide."

Two female gorillas in the enclosure did not approach the child and were unharmed.

Do you think the Gorilla should have been shot?

What’s your opinion and why? (3 sentences)

It shouldn't have been shot because the parents did not hold on to the 4 year old boy. And so the gorilla went to the corona.
